1st day - Arrival in Catania
Arrival at Catania airport, transfer to thehotel, free time.
2nd day - Siracusa > Noto
Breakfast, departure to Siracusa, the largest and most beautiful Greek colony in Sicily. You will visit the archeological park of Neapolis, the island of Ortigia with its famous Arethusa Fountain and the impressive Ear of Dionysius (with its acoustics that produces extraordinary effects). In the afternoon you will go to Noto, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its enormous artistic heritage and cradle of the Baroque in Sicily. Return to the hotel.
3rd day - Piazza Armerina > Agrigento
Breakfast, in the morning departure to Piazza Armerina, where you will visit the wonderful Villa Romana del Casale, which is famous for its mosaics of inestimable value. The journey continues to Agrigento where you will arrive just in time to watch the sunset and admire the beauty of the sun which lies behind the temples of the ancient Greek city. The Valley of the Temples, the most important archaeological site in Sicily. Hotel Accommodation
4th day - Selinunte> Segesta
Breakfast, in the morning departure to Selinunte, the largest archaeological park in the Mediterranean, where columns and ruins of Greek temples are the remains of the city situated near the river mouth. The tour continues to Segesta where you will enjoy the view of the imposing Solitary Temple and the Theatre. Hotel accommodation
5 th day - Palermo > Monreale
Breakfast, visit to Palermo, the "capital" of Sicily, a city rich in history and art. This beautiful city shows the remains of different civilizations that have contributed to make it great and special. The tour continues to Monreale, where you will visit the Cathedral and the Cloister, pride of the city. Return to Hotel
6th day– Cefalù > Tindari
Breakfast, morning dedicated to the visit of the elegant town of Cefalù, a lovely seaside and tourist resort famous for its monumental artistic jewels. The tour continues with a brief stop in Tindari, where you will enjoy the view of the "seven sisters", as the beautiful Aeolian Islands are called. Hotel Accommodation
7th day - Etna> Catania> Taormina
Breakfast, departure for the excursion to Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, a real giant that dominates and "protects" the Eastern Sicily. Arriving at an altitude of 2,000 meters, along roads crossing ancient eruptions of lava, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the Ionian coast of Sicily. Brief stop in Catania, the most important town in the eastern Sicily, rich of history and culture. The visit will be a walk in the old town along the most important and characteristic streets of the city. In the afternoon transfer to Taormina, walk through the characteristic streets of the historic centre and visit of the most famous monument of the town: the Greek Theatre. Return to Hotel
8th day - Departure> Catania
Breakfast, free day until the transfer to the airport of Catania
