Program

Day 1: ARRIVAL > CATANIA

Arrival at Catania airport, transfer to the hotel, free afternoon.

Day 2: CATANIA > ACITREZZA > ACIREALE

Breakfast. Departure for the Catania city tour and its historic center, full of treasures showcasing ancient splendors. Visit the Cathedral, Piazza Duomo, Baroque Via dei Crociferi, Church of the Collegiata, the Benedictine Convent area, and the characteristic "Pescheria" market. Continue with a visit to the Ionian coastal villages. Stop in Acitrezza to enjoy the marvelous view of the Faraglioni, which legend says were thrown by Polyphemus at Ulysses. Proceed to Acireale, cradle of Catanese Baroque, jewel of the Ionian town, and "capital" of the lemon coast. Visit the churches of San Sebastiano, Saints Peter and Paul, and the Cathedral.

Day 3: SYRACUSE > NOTO

Breakfast and departure for Syracuse, the most beautiful and largest Greek colony in Sicily. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the glorious era of Sicily. Visit the Neapolis Archaeological Park and Ortigia Island monuments, including the famous Fountain of Arethusa, Latomia del Paradiso, and the Ear of Dionysius, whose acoustics produce extraordinary effects. Optionally, take a boat tour around Ortigia. In the afternoon, excursion continues to Noto, cradle of Eastern Sicilian Baroque, UNESCO World Heritage for its immense artistic heritage.

Day 4: ETNA > TAORMINA

Breakfast. Excursion to Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, a true giant that dominates and "protects" eastern Sicily. Arrive at 2,000 m a.s.l., passing ancient lava flows, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Ionian coast. Stop at a famous winery to taste wine from ancient vineyards. In Taormina, stroll through characteristic streets and visit the Greco-Roman theater, an incomparable archaeological site with stunning panoramic views, perfect for a Sicilian farewell!

Day 5: CATANIA > DEPARTURE

Breakfast, free time until transfer to Catania airport.
